HEEL SPURS/ PLANTAR FASCIA
A heel spur is a bony overgrowth on your heel bone. It may be stimulated by muscles and ligaments (like the plantar fascia) that pull from the heel bone along the bottom of the foot. Heel spurs and an inflamed plantar fascia may cause pain when the
foot bears weight.
TREATMENT
The fascia is released to relieve the abnormal stress and the bone spur may be surgically removed.
